Match robot prediction evidence to the missing information

A robot may see where an object is yet lack the recent motion needed to act. It may also face unfamiliar deployment conditions or predict favorable outcomes for actions that fail. Each problem calls for different evidence. Across the tested settings, the studies suggest using visual history for motion context, observed transitions to update deployment predictions, and executed alternatives to check whether predicted outcomes separate success from failure. These are distinct findings, not a ranking of strategies.

Match robot evidence to the decision that fails

A robot can falter after learning another task, choose poorly among driving paths, or respond differently to two phrasings of a request. These failures arise at different decisions, so the evidence that might help enters at different points. The studies suggest rehearsing earlier tasks during adaptation, consulting predicted scenes while selecting a path, or rewriting an instruction before action. Rehearsal reduces stored trajectory memory while using model computation; the driving planner shares forecast work across paths. Each reported gain belongs to its own test.
