About Chiosa
Chiosa helps readers understand research and the connections between papers. Our explainers start with the main idea, then examine the evidence, practical implications and limitations. Guided lessons bring several studies together around a shared question.
Who the explanations are for
You do not need to be a researcher to start reading. We explain specialist terms in context and distinguish what a study found from what it might mean in practice. Links to original papers let you check the evidence and explore further.
How the writing is produced
Chiosa uses AI to help select, draft, check and translate explanations. Automated checks support this process, but they can miss errors. A published explanation should not be read as a claim that a human expert has independently verified every statement.
Read our editorial method to understand the process and its limits.
Access
Paper summaries and lesson previews are publicly readable. Some analysis, discussions and complete lessons require an account. The original research remains attributed to its authors and linked separately from Chiosa's explanation.
